KIRBY DUNNZELL has trained in various dance styles of contemporary dance & Ballet (Royal Academy of Dance & Cecchetti method) under the College of Music, University of the Philippines Diliman, and specialised in Philippine folk dance at the prestigious Philippine High School for the Arts.
In his time as an independent dance artist, teacher and choreographer in the Philippines, he was selected as one of the delegates to perform for Expo 2020 Dubai, as well as Tari Dance Festival 2019 organised by Akademi Seni Budaya dan Warisan Kebangsaan (ASWARA) in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. His other achievements include being a finalist of the Cultural Center of the Philippines National Ballet Competition (CCPNBC) in 2016 and 2018.
Dunnzell joined Frontier Danceland as a company artist in October 2022. He created IYKYK (If You Know, You Know) (2023) as part of Dancers’ Locker 2023.
