TEO KIAN GIAP graduated from University of Bristol (UK) and completed his Masters in Applied Economics at National University of Singapore in 1995.
He is currently a Arts Management lecturer at Republic Polytechnic. He is also an oral history interviewer, where the recordings could be heard at National Archives of Singapore.
