MARK ROBLES graduated from Philippine High School for the Arts and holds a degree in Dance under the prestigious College of Music, University of the Philippines Diliman. He is also a proud alumnus of University of the Philippines Dance Company under the mentorship of Herbert Alvarez, Elena Laniog-Alvarez, Angela Lawenko-Baguilat, and Professor Emeritus Steve Villaruz.

Robles values the transformative potential of dance beyond performance to become a better individual. He uses it as a medium to express what words cannot, and help develop self-discipline, patience, understanding and the totality of the person he is today.

Robles joined Frontier Danceland as a project artist in September 2018 and became company artist in January 2019. His works in the creative platform of Dancers’ Locker include filmic work, Cat Out of the Bag (2020), co-creation, Elemental Beings (2021) and Bayhana (2022), where the former made the official selection of Fifth Wall Fest 2020. He also created AviuMotus (2021) as part of LEAP 2021 and Esplanade’s In Youthful Company 2021.
