In February and March 2008 Frontier Danceland will perform “The Masters and Mistresses” - a dance installation extracted from the Chinese famous novel “Dream of the Red Chamber. It integrates three male choreographers of various cultural backgrounds from Taiwan, Malaysia and Singapore to exhibit their unique understanding about the great literature of “Dream of the Red Chamber”.

Chingay 2005 - Singapore
Frontier performed in 2005's Chingay "Parade of Dreams" on February 18th and 19th along Orchard Road - "Asia's grandest street and floats parade"!
Frontier dancers performed with students from Raffles Girls Secondary and Raffles Junior College. Mdm Low choreographed the performance. Photos coming soon...

2004 Annual Year End Performance
On November 26th and 27th 2004 Frontier staged their Annual Year End Performance "In The Eyes Of..." at the NUS's University Cultural Centre. "In the Eyes of..." was the culmination of many months work by all involved:

Frontier sponsors the Live Arts Society's Annual Art Exhibition

13th August 2004 - as part of the Opening Ceremony of this years Art Exhibition by Singapore's Live Arts Society, Frontier Danceland dancers Kay Lee and Clare Tay performed as live canvases for celebrated Singaporean artist Tan Khim Ser. This creative fusion of fine art and dance was the first of its kind, and served as a fitting finale to the Opening Ceremony and was greatly enjoyed by onlookers, including Guest of Honour Mr Chan Soo Sen Minister of State, Ministry of Education & Ministry of Community Development and Sports (seen below presenting Mdm Low with a token of thanks for Frontier's support).

The exhibition at the MITA Building Atrium, Hill Street, runs from Saturday 14/08/04 to Tuesday 17/09/04, 11.00am to 7.00pm.

New HIP HOP Classes have started at Frontier

Frontier has just started a new hip hop course for beginners and advanced beginners run by Frontier dancer Kay Lee. The classes are every Saturday from 2:30-3:30pm. If there is enough demand, another class will be organised on weekdays.

Frontier perform CRYING EARTH for Singapore Arts Festival

May-June 2004 - As part of the Arts Festival's "Arts On the Move" programme, Frontier Danceland performed "Crying Earth" - a performance inspired by our relationship with nature and our detrimental effect on the environment. These were public performances, the first having been at Yew Tee MRT and the second outside Raffles Place MRT.
